Just a little background..

Japanese special edition M3 competition. It’s based on the competition package but has BMW Performance carbon fibre mirror covers and rear trunk spoiler. Interior is carbon fiber like the like the M3 GTS, not carbon leather. Dark finish ZCP competition wheels. It can actually only be ordered in Fire Orange. the fire orange special edition comes adorned as standard in £4000 fire orange individual paint.

Price tag was about ¥12,000,000 (approximately £65,000 + taxes)! When purchased from the dealer. This wasn’t just offered to anyone, you had to be a repeat customer.

These were only limited to only 15 RHD cars! Super super rare! You may see the USDM Lime Rock Park Edition, very similar specs.

Some BMW enthusiasts will know China had a very similar run of cars but with ‘Tiger Edition’ but all LHD.
